Front-end Team Lead (React / Blockchain)

We are looking for a Front-end Team Lead to join the Binance Chain team.
The ideal candidate should have a solid engineering skills as well as people management capabilities. Crypto/blockchain experience (DApps, Wallets, etc) would be a huge advantage. If you think you have what it takes to be part of a high performing team, we would like to hear from you. This is a full-time position that can be remote or in one of our locations (e.g. Singapore). Our preference is Asian timezones.

  • Implement new user-facing features in Binance’s products which have a huge amount of PV everyday

  • Manage the team

  • Write client-side code to create super-fast, easy-to-use, web-based applications which include website for both desktop and mobile browsers, and hybrid in-app pages

  • Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale

  • Build libraries and frameworks that support complex web applications, speedup development efficiency and improve code quality
    Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years developing production JavaScript code and strong knowledge of React.JS

  • Fluent English. Proficiency in Chinese would be of an advantage, to communicate with a variety of stakeholders across the company

  • Familiar with crypto technology, experience in using dApp and wallets

  • Understanding of state-management patterns such as Redux, Flux or similar

  • Proven track record of delivering projects with high quality UI

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent industry experience

  • Experience in developing responsive web sites for diverse clients from high powered desktop computers to small footprint mobile devices

  • Experience with modern front end technologies (Styled System, Webpack, etc)

  • Open-source contributor, especially in the crypto/blockchain area

  • Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and server side techniques

  • Familiar with server-side rendering

  • Familiar with the source code of one or two famous front-end libraries

  • TypeScript
